Evra Contraceptive Patch is a convenient form of contraception. The user applies the patch once a week for 3 weeks and off 1 week. But recent study shows Evra causes more venous thromboembolism among users when compared with oral contraceptives. It is recommended that obese women not be prescribed Evra.
